Our Amazing Designer

This is a video for the bio nerds - I once had someone explain to me every single shot of this video, and I was blown away at the complexity of the design. "It's like a microcosm of a city that duplicates itself," he said.

I just can't reproduce the explanation, but I think just seeing this video does give us a sense of awe and wonder.

For those who want the full explanation, there's a site that shows a slow speed version of this, with the complete frame-by-frame explanation of everything:

http://multimedia.mcb.harvard.edu/

Just make sure you click on the "slow speed version."

The video depicts a little of what must happen for a human macrophage (white blood cell) to change shape so that it can leave the bloodstream and enter inter-cellular space to chase down bacteria and viruses. Makes me think of Colossians 1:17 "And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."

If someone could volunteer to give us a shot-by-shot explanation of this, it would be great. Just record your voice as you're watching this video, and then just send it to me, and I'll put your voice over the video and post it.
